This is a systematic capture of a Jensen Tornado 100, from the Jet series, installed in two different enclosures:
● a 2x12" Open Back cabinet
● a 4x12" Closed Back cabinet
Totalling 576 IRs and developed in conjunction with a Jensen Speakers product specialist, this library recreates the most authentic playing experience, as if you were playing an original speaker.
The Tornado 100 is the first Jensen Jet speaker loaded with the 2nd Generation Neodymium magnet design. The Tornado 100 is an evenly balanced speaker, clear, smooth and well defined, with a solid, powerful bass range. Excellent dynamic range and headroom make the Tornado 100 eminently versatile, suiting a wide range of musical genres from clean to crunch and lead tones, up to the highest gain application. The well-defined attack keeps the presence of the tone in the mix, blending in with the complex midrange, typical of the large 2x12 and 4x12 cabinets, and the solid bass response.

Every microphone was moved to four different horizontal positions (Cap, Cap Edge, Cone and Cone Edge) and two distances, for a total of eight IRs each.
All measurement sets have been repeated for each one of the cabinets in the library.
All IRs have been phase aligned and they can be blended without phase cancellations.

This library was created for the TH-U Supercabinet that allows you to:
● Graphically browse the IRs in the library
● Blend multiple IRs and create totally custom and huge stereo guitar tones
● Compose new cabinet tones with the unique Multiband mode
● Export your crafted IRs in .wav format for use with all major hardware modelers and software IR loaders
