FEATURES
INTUITIVE YET MIGHTY TOOL
Learning to use VocalMint Compressor is a matter of seconds. Yet under the surface, this plug-is a powerful beast. It does not only compresses your track once, it runs it through its virtual signal chain and multiple things gradually happen to the signal.
3 NON-LINEAR COMPRESSION STAGES
Included in VocalMint Compressor, there are in total three different stages of compression. They go as follows: Smash compressor, Valve compressor, Multi-band compressor. Together they create powerful and very carefully hand-picked processing sequence, which sorts out all kinds of typical problems related to a human voice, all at once.
SUBTLE TONE SHAPING
The third compression stage along with the exact model of a valve circuit delivers slight EQ shaping as well. This shaping is very consciously pre-tuned. It is not overpowering, yet it is very helpful to your vocal track. It doesn't overshadow your own EQ moves, it just helps the track to sound more open.
VISUAL LAYOUT
The plug-in menu can be closed or opened for additional controls such as a Zoom option or a dBU/ dBFS Calibration. The latter acts as an operation point setting of the compressors and therefore influences the amplitude at which the compression starts to be more substantial. When set at 0.0 dBFS, the plug-in will compress less than when calibrated say at -24.0 dBFS. Factory default setting is -9.0 dBFS.
